Akihabara is full of large game arcades, with a variety of old and new games spread across multiple floors. Gaming enthusiasts of all ages flock here day and night. What is interesting when talking about arcades is "purikura" (プリクラ), which is still extremely popular in Japan. Some arcades have entire floors dedicated to "purikura" (プリクラ), and many arcades offer cosplay costumes for free. Another is UFO Catcher. This is a game where you operate a crane and get prizes ranging from simple to popular products. People are very interested in these machines because most of the items can only be obtained as prizes in UFO Catchers.
