A Morning at Lake Hyōko

A Heartfelt Reflection

This morning, as I stood by the serene waters of Lake Hyōko, I found myself mesmerized by the sight of countless birds, each unique in its kind and color. They seemed so carefree, living in harmony, flying to new places without worry or cost, and sharing the earth, sun, and wind without distinction or prejudice. For a moment, I felt a twinge of envy for their simplicity and freedom.

But then a thought struck me—a realization that shifted my perspective entirely. These beautiful creatures, though they seem so blessed, live without the awareness of the One who provides everything for them. From the food they eat to the air beneath their wings, they exist without recognizing the Creator who lovingly sustains their lives until their final day.

And in that moment, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude. I realized how much more blessed I am, not because I have more than they do, but because I have the capacity to know and acknowledge the existence of GOD. He is the provider of everything—giving me far more than I could ever ask for, not because of my needs, but simply because of His boundless love for me.

This realization has reshaped my understanding of life. It’s not about chasing success, satisfaction, or even contentment. Life is about recognizing and knowing that there is GOD who provides for me unconditionally, who loves me deeply and eternally. And for that, I am profoundly grateful.
